AI Content Policy
Exactly where AI touches our content, where it doesn’t, and what a human always checks before anything publishes.
Effective Date: August 2026Our Approach
ProCritique uses AI tools as part of how this site is drafted, built, and illustrated. We’re not going to pretend otherwise — plenty of sites use AI quietly and plenty of readers are (rightly) skeptical of AI-assisted content. Our position is simple: AI can help with structure, drafting speed, and building interactive tools, but it never gets to decide what’s true. Every factual claim on this site — a price, a plan limit, a feature comparison — is checked against a real, citable source before it’s allowed to stay in an article.
Where We Use AI
Specific, disclosed uses across the site:
Drafting assistance
AI helps produce first-draft structure and copy for reviews and comparisons, which our editorial process then fact-checks, edits, and — where needed — substantially rewrites against verified sources.
Interactive tools
Cost calculators, “which plan fits you” quizzes, and comparison tables embedded in our articles are built with AI-assisted code, using only pricing and feature data already verified in the article they appear in.
Infographics
Some visual infographics on this site are generated using Google’s NotebookLM, sourced directly from that article’s own verified content — not invented statistics. These carry a visible “Gemini Notebook” attribution mark.
Research & structure
AI helps identify what a review should cover and how it should be organized, based on the product’s own public pricing and documentation.
Formatting & consistency
AI assists with keeping layout, headings, and comparison tables consistent across a large and growing library of reviews.
SEO structure
AI helps identify what questions a review should answer and how it should be organized for readers searching a topic — it does not write the verdict itself.
What AI Never Does Here
Hard limits, no exceptions
- AI does not publish anything without a human reviewing it first.
- AI does not invent pricing, statistics, or feature claims — every number traces to a real source, or the article says the number couldn’t be confirmed.
- AI does not “test” software. Hands-on assessment, when a review claims it, is done by our editorial team.
- AI does not decide rankings based on affiliate value — commission potential plays no role in what we recommend.
Human Review, Every Time
Every article, tool, and infographic on this site is reviewed by a human editor before and after publication. That review checks factual accuracy against source material, verifies that no claim outruns its evidence, and confirms the piece reflects ProCritique’s actual editorial judgment — not just what a model produced. See our Editorial Guidelines for how that process works end to end.
Disclosure
We’re committed to being straightforward about this rather than defensive. If you spot something in an AI-assisted tool or infographic that looks wrong, we want to know — report it through our contact page and we’ll check it directly, the same way we handle any other correction.
