Our Story

Why We Started ProCritique

Every “best software” list online is written the same way: skim the vendor’s own homepage, rewrite the feature list, add an affiliate link, publish. We got tired of reading — and writing — that kind of content.

ProCritique exists to do the opposite. We actually use the tools we write about, we compare them against real alternatives, and we tell you plainly when something isn’t worth your money — even when it means fewer affiliate clicks for us.

We started with a handful of niche software categories nobody else was covering well — intrusion detection tools, handicapping software, SEO rank trackers — and we’re expanding into the fastest-moving category in tech today: AI tools.
